Stratospheric ozone depletion occurs when the production/destruction equilibrium shifts away from creation. While transitory ozone depletion can be caused by natural processes, the main culprits are now generally acknowledged to be the chlorine and bromine created by man-made substances like CFCs. Household appliances have a significant influence in the release of harmful gases. Because these appliances are used by everyone on the earth, this leads to the release of large number of gases, resulting in ozone layer depletion. The purpose is to analyses the impact of household appliances using the Product Environment Utilizing the Internet of Things to lessen the impact of household appliances and Lifecycle Analytics (LCA) footprint engineering (IOT). An electrochemical sensor is utilized here to monitor the hazardous gases emitted by home appliances. When it detects the release of harmful CFC chemicals from household appliances, it sends an alert message to IoT-connected mobile phones and stores the information on the internet. This helps to prevent the depletion of the ozone layer by reducing the emission of CFCs and other harmful gases.
